VisionenSymposium

For almost 20 years, we have been at the forefront of tracking down innovative and disruptive ideas with our VisionSymposium.Selected top speakers set new trends and concrete suggestions year after year.
Due to the current corona situation, we have decided to present the VisionAwards_20 (online) - including an exciting keynote, but no half-day VisionSymposium. See you again personally in summer 2021!

The VisionAward

Since 2006, VisionAwards have been given to young and established companies and entrepreneurs who set new trends with a new business idea.
The VisionAward winners of the last few years include well-known companies such as Amiando (XING Events), Brands for Friends, Betterplace, Last. fm, Lilium, myTaxi and Bragi Dash. 

Call for applications

Companies, entrepreneurs and scientists can apply for a VisionAward every year. The winners of a VisionAward_19 are audEERING and Green City Solutions. A special prize, the VisionAward Environment was awarded to Ocean Waste Recover System. Another special prize, a VisionAward_Talents, was awarded to the student project Green Grubs, Enactus University Frankfurt. Applications for the VisionAward_20 are now open until July 20, 2020.

Talk mit Yobie Benjamin

We are excited that we could appoint Yobie Benjamin, a star of the American tech scene, for visionen_after_work. Yobie Benjamin is a venture investor and innovator in autonomous mobility, AI, advanced materials, life sciences, IoT, fintech, telecomm, cannabis technologies, sustainability and retail/consumer products. In recognition of his technology achievements in virtual reality, the World Economic Forum named him as a 2015 Technology Pioneer. Mr. Benjamin is an active member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network. Currently he is Managing Partner at 4iNNO (a part of PA Consulting), working on consumer product innovation with several Fortune 100 firms. He is also co-founder, advisor to several startups in the technology and synthetic biology space. He is an advisor HPEC (healthcare) and DBrain (AI). He is co-founder and CTO Emeritus of Token.io. He is also a co-lecturer (with Dr. Gino Yu) at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, teaching a course on Global Angel Investing. Previously, Yobie Benjamin was Global Chief Technology Officer for Citibank. He was also Chairman of Citi’s Research Development Innovation & Learning Center. Mr. Benjamin was a Partner and Chief of Global Strategy at Ernst & Young, LLP (now EY, LLP) for five years.

Presentation of the VisionAward_20 on Tuesday, 15 September 2020, ONLINE from 18.00 to 20.00 hours!

Applications for a VisionAward_20 are possible until 20 July 2020. See below.

Call for applications VisionAward_20

Companies, entrepreneurs and scientists can now apply for a VisionAward_20. There are two ways of participating: Potential award winners from all sectors and from all over Europe can apply themselves or are proposed for the jury meeting by jury members. A total of up to five VisionAwards_20 will be awarded, depending on the jury's decision.

An application that should not exceed four A4 pages must contain the following information in German or English:
Name of the company or project
Contact person for queries, address, web address
Detailed description of the activities
Rough economic indicators or short business plan
Closing date for entries: 20 July 2020, 11 pm (arrival!).

The jury will decide on the number of winners. Each award winner can present himself or herself at the symposium for 15 minutes.
Subject to change without notice. Applications received after this deadline cannot be considered.
